Projects - Svalyava Baby Orphanage Kitchen Renovation

Healthy food is a critical component of every child’s development. For this reason strong emphasis is placed on providing high quality and well-balanced meals throughout the day to the children residing in the Svalyava Baby Orphanage. Every attempt is made at supplying them with the maximum nutritional value possible.

However, the kitchen facility used to prepare these meals does not measure up to sanitation standards and is in great need of reconstruction and repair. It currently does not provide the means for the orphanage staff to meet the daily demands of the children.

An Orphan’s Bright Star is working with the orphanage director to realize the completion of the Svalyava Baby Orphanage Kitchen Renovation Project. Repair/replacement of the existing electrical, ventilation and water supply systems is budgeted at $14,014.
